Once again, job well done. Is there a reason for the lack of capitalization? It doesn't take away from the work, Just curious.

Thank you so much for your kind review and for taking the time to read and share your thoughts regarding my haiku. I appreciate your comments and encouraging response, Arnie. The Japanese didn't use capitalization (except for proper names) and limited punctuation to a minimum, and it still carries over when writing haiku today.

Karyn :-)

Ah, a fine haiku. I love the vibrancy and the colors of this one. Yes, some fish are so colorful that the names of their colors are nameless. I love your rainbow imagery. Thank you for sharing and for inspiring.

Hi Karyn,
I like this one. It's very observational and at the same time not at all!. A myriad of colours under the sea which cannot be determined. Very nice and clever.
All the best

This meets the structural elements beautifully with a spot on line and syllable count.
nameless colors - strong mental image here as it creates a vision of vibrant colors in abundance that put flowers to shame
swim the sunless ocean depths - seamless connection to line one as you put the colors in motion and subtly convey the frigid dark depths
rainbow in the dark - wonderfully executed satori tying it all together
Nicely done and thank you very much for sharing it.

Hiya... the photo looks like the aquarium at the Vet's office. Colorful, like your haiku. I enjoyed reading it, Karyn. Made me smile...

Hi Karyn
I hope you don't mind if I offer one itty bitty change. You describe the colors as "nameless". I see them as "converging" into that rainbow you finish off with. I do like the image you create though. I've always enjoyed looking at the colorful fish and coral in TV videos. I think the fish make up for the lack of sunlight. Nature evolves.
Nice haiku!

Thank you so much for your kind review and for taking the time to read and share your thoughts regarding my haiku. I appreciate your comments and encouraging response, !imbob, and I always appreciate your suggestions. I read where there are fish living so deep in the ocean, we've never seen them, so that's where I got nameless colors from...there. Outdoor be shades of colors never seen by us.
Smiles,
Karyn :-)

Love the last line. Great choice of picture. Engulfed in all kinds of yellow. Want to swim with them. To nit pick, would have chosen a different color or maybe rainbow colors for the poem.
