last line of next to last stanza is a stumble for me in the stress. I would hear it
as "from the first day I breathed." I like the words "mum" and "bloke" as these
remind me of something personal and so inspirational. It is a lovely picture for this
and I only wish I had a 6 for you today.

H froerajac. Thank you for stopping by to read my bio poem I will have a look at that line .Yes it is quite a personal write and my bloke is Ok and I am mum although the kids are all grown and ai have 4 grandaughters also so always busy.you six is appreciated but your 5.is lovely so ta Cheers

Of the three bio poems I have read in this contest so far, yours is the best because it is truly a bio poem. You describe not only your appearance but your interests. I know everyone has had different life experiences, but you do not dwell on a single trauma or a series of them. Your message is upbeat and you look back upon a well0lived life with no regrets:
"So when all's said and done
I've naught to complain
And yes if you ask me
I'd do it all just the same."
So well said. I also love your use of a mirror to describe the way you are now and the way you were then.

I asked for this and this is my reflection I have had a good life with many great experiences and continue to do so. A very well-written biographical poem. Our kuves going pass far too quickly. The young girl in the mirror becomes the old woman overnight, but seldom we will have regrets for who we are today.
