Hi Bill. Oh boy, I have been in this movie :-) I remember the first time I 'ate the worm.' Disgusting, but at least I got an achievement certificate from the restaurant (and a very large alcohol bill). cheers - DJ

Sounds like a horrible moment in consumption. Yikes, no snails for me, pickled or not. I guess warm tequila might be the reason why people have eaten some strange things in life. Of course excellently written and makes the point desired.

Tequila, whether cold or warm is poison to me. Here I was all set to enjoy my last night of bachelorhood and I was introduced to two shots of tequila and my night of planned freedom was placed under arrest by violent retching as my best man was forced to take me home and put me to bed. Of course it had nothing to do with the gallon of scotch my best man, one other Navy vet and I had consumed earlier in the day.
