Great job on this Ping Pong Poem, judester! Congrats on your win! Most deserving! So beautiful to see elephants in their natural habitat. It will indeed be a sad, sad day if/when these animals become extinct and can only be seen in the pages of books.
Well done!

Yes it would be a horrendous shame. China has agreed to close down the ivory carving shops and we have been given the green light to begin our antipoaching surveillance in the Tanzanian national parks, so two pieces of good news for our beloved elephants, cheers, j

Thanks for the review. Wouldn't it be a shame to see elephants only in books because they were poached to extinction, sigh. judester

Everyone loves elephants, there is just something about them. China is shutting down the ivory carving factories and that is a great step forward to protecting these elephants and allowing them to live in peace. judester

I follow news about elephants and had heard that. I hope it applies to rhinos, too. Congratulations on winning the contest with your fine entry. Marilyn

I enjoyed your sad poem on the plight of the elephants. Good job on its style. Your lines flow well with a great message.
How long will it be before a picture in a book is all we have to remember these beautiful creatures.
Good job. Thanks for sharing. Best wishes in the contest. Jan

Thanks for the review. It is very sad. China has agreed to shut down the ivory carving trade and we have gotten the green light to begin our antipoaching and surveillance in Tanzania next month, so those are two steps I am going to be optimistic about. Cheers, j

This ping pong poem, Armchair Safari, is set up correctly and, for me, shows how delightful looking at elephants can be, but that they might only be available soon in books.

Sad state of affairs for our beloved elephants. We will begin antipoaching next month using drones over the parks here in Tanzania. China closing their ivory carving trade is a huge step. Let's pull them from the brink of extinction, Thanks for the review, cheers, j
