Fantastic story! Some people freeze in such a situation, but you had quick thinking and quick feet. I can understand how that would put a little fear in the boy about riding on a train.

Thank you so much Mel for reading and for taking the time to review. And wow six stars, that was unexpected but very much appreciated. I value your kind comments. Again thanks.

I have enjoyed this very much, Aryr. It has helped me to get to know you a bit better.

Just a couple of typos:

You forgot an h in: they stressed the need for him to obey is big sister

You wrote: they presented me with a plague. Hopefully it was a plaque, not a plague...;)

Why do you say some things are better left unsaid? I don't really understand the connection with the story.

Good luck in the contest.

Thank you Maria for not only reading but for taking the time to review. I really appreciate your suggestions and I will fix those typos in a few minutes. Your good luck wishes are truly valued. And wow six stars, oh my goodness. Oh well it was related to the fact that I threatened him as I was spanking him and of his fear of getting on a train when he was a little older. I just thought it was a catchy line to use.
