Than you for your appreciative comments, mesayers! Sorry about your cold, but glad you still were able to find the poem so much fun..
I can see that you're new to Fanstory, and aren't yet accustomed to our eccentricities. One of them is that the "good" four-star rating actually isn't considered good, and is used pretty sparingly, except, for example, when accompanied with a constructive suggestion.to improve a shortcoming. The rating star scores determine the writers' overall ratings, and any rating below five stars for established writers, is detrimental to them.
I'm sure you were unaware of that when submitting your review, and don't feel bad, because lots of other new FS writers have been confused by the apparent contradictions between some out-of-date site elements and current practices.
(I'm not permitted to identify myself as the author of the poem until after the "blind entry" contest voting deadline. Also, contestants are forbidden to alert other members of their entries, or to solicit votes in any way.)
I will appreciate it, though, if you'll return to the poem, and if you think it deserves a higher rating you will be able to change it, although not to six stars. Thanks again for your compliments, welcome to FanStory, and happy New Year!
