Ok, this gave me a serious chuckle. I think we can all relate to your sentiment, dear Jay! We're all in a hustle and things running amuck. I hope your family gets there safe and sound. The rhyme was spot on and the message was fun and cleverly penned. Good job, dear.

In my opinion, a charming and fun write - clever in its perspective and a joy to read - rhyming rhythm is smooth and flows easily, in unforced style. Standing alone, it requires nothing else, no imagery, to set the tone...

MERRY CHRISTMAS JAYBIRD1: The Holiday bustle is really a hustle, isn't it. Welcome to the club. I'm feeling you all the way. I have imagined that the most annoying part of it all for me is the cluttered traffic situation. Here in Pleasantville New Jersey main street traffic is like a parking lot every day...inch-stop-go. Inch-stop-go. And the weather has been ice cold. But I thank our God that I'm still here to experience it all...and to live another day. I like pour poem, Jaybird. It is good. God bless you. I made the mistake of shopping this morning in my quaint little northern Michigan town, and I darn near killed three pedestrians who cannot read crosswalk signs, and was nearly rear-ended twice. "Uptight" doesn't come close to what I was feeling when I arrived home, but it's close!
