A very well-written story about a courageous little dog whose instinct it is to protect his giant and the girl dog next door and get himself into trouble when a 'dragon' attacks him.

NS I have no idea what a 'Urdenurden' is. I would like to know though.

Imagine a little boy playing with a toy car, saying "Boodenbooden" and "Urdenurden" as he pushes it about. Thanks very much for reading and reviewing my animal POV story, which was not fiction. That's Miko's picture.

This is a very entertaining piece.I wondered what the "Dragon" was and was
immediately beset with the image of a wrathful goose. Poor pooch! I have been attacked by a goose myself and found it terrifying. I wasn't even in their yard, but visiting next door. She cleared the fence and came at the run, wings spread ,neck out in front, all systems blaring. I just made it to the back door as she grabbed my ankle. Whoo hoo! The dog has a neat way of naming things. I am intrigued by Urdenurden, but the Place Where They Torture Dogs is priceless. Well done most enjoyable cheers Cass

Imagine a boy imitating a gasoline engine in a car or bike. I almost said Boodenbooden. Geese are territorial and can be aggressive, and Miko-that's him in the picture-weighs just twelve pounds. Thanks very much for reading and reviewing.
That sixth star makes my day.

Haha, I'm not sure if I'm supposed to be laughing, and I hope Miko is healed by now, but this was written so well from the perspective of a dog under attack by a damn goose! They are unforgiving little beasts. Well done!

The canine King of the Hill pouted for a few days after his humiliating defeat, then forgot about it. Thanks very much for reading and reviewing.

I digress. [Jesus, do you ever! I'm saying this with an envious smile on my face, Red. What is it about your writing that spellbinds me (and I'm assuming others), without your giving a mote of a hint about what's going on. I read on with the digression, loving every minute of it.]

the dragon smashed me to the grass with it's vast wings, [Not a contraction for "it is"]

I LOVED IT! The ending, I mean. Are geese really that vicious in Georgia, Red. I'm a city-boy, you see.

Roosters, Drakes, Ganders, Toms, they all sometimes get alpha male notions and get mean. Thanks for reviewing and catching my favorite nit, Jay. Yes, that is Miko in the photo.

Bless his little heart. That ole dragon pouncing on him like that. We'll pluck out all its feathers.

This is a darling story. Well told and kept my interest from the very first. I couldn't even guess what the dragon was. I kept thinking a garden tool of some sort, or even a cat.

You did a great job of keeping me guess and still interested. I love that you wrote of Mike's point of view. He's so cute. 8-)

His dignity was a little battered, but it didn't take any sutures, just some betadyne and stuff on his body. Thanks much for reading and reviewing. Yes. that is his picture.

I imagine to dogs humans look like giants and geese are like dragons.
Excellent storytelling with lively characters.
The story moved well.
Great job!

Cost me a hundred bucks for the visit, the clipping and painting and the antibiotics. Miko is a twelve-pound Chihuahua. That's him in the picture. I am adding a note...the prompt is for a flash fiction from an animal's POV. Thanks very much for reading and reviewing.
