Sorry those publishers are giving you a hard time. I don't bother with them any more because they will all be falling over each other to get at my stuff when I'm dead. The way things are going they won't have long to wait.

I love that you responded to your own roast poem. I thought your roasting was in good form and even classy. I am not good at confrontations or replies to snipes. You did a fun response that fits well in the friendly, "all in good fun" category.

Michael, this is a fun poem that roast many of the most popular writers on this site. Your self-deprecating humor resonated with me. The part of your poem I felt the most was when you describe the distance between your adoration on FanStory and being banned in the publishing world. Yes, I think many of the writers here may find it hard to be published unless they self publish. I am fortunate that seven of my FanStory poems have been published throughout America. Your ramble and rant finally hits it target not at Tom, Dean, or Gypsy, but at you:
"I'm the poor fool I must roast."

I enjoyed reading this quite detailed poem all about what the fans of fanstory think of you. I read Gypsy's roasting of you, it was so good I almost believed it. But you have well got her back with this one. It is well written, It is good to a have some with fans.

This is a witty roast for some of the best writers on the site. I am sorry about those nasty publishers (if they are real). At least they answered you. The ones I sent got lost in the mail, I think. I never got any answers. But I keep writing. The best authors and poets got turned down a lot before they got published. Some still think that Shakespeare didn't write any of his plays since he was born of two illiterate parents.
