Yowza, this is a very scary tale, Ellijay. Patch and Bubba were on a mission and by the sounds of it those greedy stepchildren got what they deserved.

A chilling story. The sad thing is that some kids do go thru all the medical stuff. And still die. Happened here recently. Not in my family, but locally. Well told story.

A rattling good tale. That opening paragraph of yours is one of the best I've read in ages. Reading it was like catching a good wave. What a ride, all the way through, and onto the rocks. That'll teach the little bastards to mess with an old man and his dogs.

I guess the old man and his dogs had their revenge. I can imagine the chihuahua with red eyes kicking up sparks. Those little dogs are feisty. The two awful stepkids had it coming. Too bad Kelli lost her friend.

I have had a number of Chihuahuas, and the thought of one as large as a horse sounded like a real horror story. Thanks very much for reading and reviewing.
