Truly allows the mind to see each line as a picture. Then tugs at heart of how our memorabilia does end in a closet, a box or on their way to an attic or a place under a stairwell.

For a few words it was a powerful image.

Blessings, Jo

Come what may in the contest, Judester, I am voting for your poem because it tugged at my heart and memories about my own memorabilia "boxed up and attic bound." I love your catalog of things cherished by this boy. He makes me think of my own things I cherished and boxed up. What can i saw other than that your teacup poem resonated with me the most.

Thank you for sharing. i wish you success in the contest.

Very cool! I like the use of such a long word to define and with perfect examples of memorabilia. It also works allegorically of memories that are stored in the "attic" of the mind.

Funny, the simple things that we just cannot throw away and they have little meaning to anyone but the collector. Ticket stubs and a prize won at the fair can trigger wonderful memories and that's why we keep them. A young boy's treasures boxed up to find and remind years later. Thanks for the review, cheers, j

This teacup poem is well written and the nostalgic comes through quite well. I like that you managed to rhyme it in the ending. Well presented, too.Great job!

The "Teacup Dictionary poem" is an interesting poetic form and quite a challenge.
I liked the picture and the sweet memory lane of this poem of 'memorabilia'.

Well done
Janet

There are probably a lifetime of memories in that box. It would be worth going through it someday and remembering the old days.
