This is a very beautiful poem ...a tribute to a woman you see as having qualities resembling those of a goddess...quelling a tsunami...walking on water...
She has the ability to soothe the soul ...?...and in her play...does she know this?...You create..and so she lives.....Would she live beyond this magical world?
One...of..if not the...best romantic poems on the site since I arrived last December...
The Irish are romantics...I see this here...

Thanks for sharing another of your fine poem and picture combinations that draws me in and puts me to thinking. Beach bunny, beach bunny, where did you go, floating across the sky as I look up from my boat. Once held in my arms, now, cascading through the cloudy swirls of yonder skies. Time to have another drink. Great job. :-)

I have been preoccupied with life and apologize for missing some of your posts. I enjoyed this very much. You are a true romantic and are able to convey this with what appears to be little effort. I am envious of your talent (in a good way) and wish you all the best in this contest too.

"For a King's ransom of fantasies." Wonderful line.
"Tsunami quelled and felled by the peace in her soul." This says to me that she made everything all right in your world. Her peace soothed all the wrongs.
I wish I could write like this. It's so beautiful. You have a poet's heart.

All skyscrapers are buildings; some buildings are mud huts, therefore all skyscrapers are mud huts. Wrong! I remember this one from the start of my philosophy course. There fore if a is reflected in b then b must be reflected in a is unfortunately also incorrect.
Those statements are all about logic in the real world. The great joy of being a poet is that we don't always inhabit the real world. I am told this is also true of a lot of Irishmen so, with a foot in both camps, you can feel at liberty to look at those reflections upside down, and continue with beautiful poetic logic until "the universe becomes something else".

This is a sad and whimsical poem. I like the pictures as they add to the poem. It reminded me of the saying if you love someone let them go. I like the soft tone of your poem. Thank you for sharing.
