a nice Holiday presentation and your poem described the typical American Thanksgiving dinner--however it read more like a greeting card than true poetry. I would like to see more poetic elements not just rhyming such as alliteration or metaphor, irony, there are lots to choose from When read aloud your work did have a nice rhythm.

Thank you Lois for your "good" review. However, this is a contest entry in which the author has to write a poem about "Giving Thanks", so that sort of cuts out all the things you mentioned in your review. But, thanks anyway.
