How cute, for a horrifying 5-7-5 poem. I loved the humor of the horrible story of the tainted pork. Around Thanksgiving, there will probably be a lot of pigs at the table. haha Nice poem. I loved it.

That's what I'd hoped, Janice, and that it would cause an involuntary shiver in a few readers.
Unfortunately, the voters didn't see it the way you did, and subsequently, I got my butt spanked in a contest that I created, 9 votes to 4.
Oh, the humanity!
Anyhow, I'm glad you liked it.
I sure could'a used your vote yesterday.
At least the loss wouldn't have looked so ugly, lol...

I loved your poem. It's hard to believe that people could say anything bad about your poems. I love them! Too many people have forgotten how to laugh. They live their lives being critical of every tiny thing. Your poem was wonderful.

Fantastic! Scary, revulsion, and sadistic. A cannibalistic pig eating tainted pork. This poem is suey- t. And I love the picture you chose. His own hand stuck in the grinder. Will he also eat the tainted pork? Perhaps.
Also great finish adding Porky Pig and his famous looney toon send off. Bravo. Good luck in the contest

Thanks very much for taking the time to read this crazy thing, Daniel. I'm really pleased to know that you got a laugh out of this, and that you enjoyed it enough to rate it as highly as you did.
Unfortunately, the feeling was not a mutual one amongst those who voted in this contest.
I got my butt handed to me, 9 votes to 4.
Much obliged.
Enjoy your weekend.

9 votes to 4, so you're a little too late.
Thanks very much for reading just the same.

Sorry man - I'd of voted for you, but I missed this booth. Sometimes I wonder about contests, you get all these great comments - then when the voting time comes...pop goes the weasel.
Anyway... all the best,
Bill

I really liked your play on words. There is much information for a 5-7-5. However, I found it more humorous than horrifying. Now how nice was it to call your wife a sow? I guess that was pretty horrifying. I really liked it.

The name "horror-fying" is humorous in and of itself.

The fact that I've seen horror movies with pigs and hogs eating the remains of murdered people, gave this one extra punch. The picture was awesome. Loved the pun with suey cide. Great job. Funny and disturbing. Gretchen

Dean Kuch,
You did a wonderful job with the challenge that was presented to you. The flow was very nice. The theme was good. You wrote this one very well. The artwork complemented your poem.
There was no SPAG. No typos. No homophones. No problems at all.
The line count was within means.
I look forward to seeing you again.
Love you,
Oatmeal
