Fr Brown

A very nice man. A troubled young woman.

Maria, you sure come up with some suspenseful writing. How sad,
but I am sure there are people like this who don't care about what
crime they committed. What a sad life. Good job of writing this.

Could be. I hadn't thought about it, but it's a great suggestion...
    Thanks.

This had a wonderful air of suspense and intrigue to it. As a reader I had no idea at the beginning what direction it would take. You provided great details as the story unfolded. It was enjoyable reading, thank you.

You are most welcome- I have since thought about it and I really appreciated the ending, it was a great question. It should be gender addressed.

wow an excellently told story with a twist at the end for effect.
No problems noted and just the right length to not lose the reader.
You do have a way with words

Oh, this is a nice piece of flash fiction that kept us guessing as an inmate kept Father Brown squirming over whether or not she will confess. She is resigned to her fate to burn unrepentant in hell. Your dialogue engaged me and drew me into your dark story of revenge and self-hatred. This reminds me of the earlier revenge story you wrote.

Thank you for sharing.

Hi, Maria

= Oh, awesome story. Excellent job with this one.
= You kept us guessing to the end they were in a jail, and Father Brown was there for her.
= As soon as I saw 'Father Brown', I thought of the TV series, which we watch all the time on PBS.

Hi MJ,

Very nice little piece here. At first the reader may think it's just a cantankerous woman but so not the case. Nice revelation. Works very well in the short form.

All the best
