Your poem certainly captures the essence of the holiday--good friends, good food, good times. It's truly one of the best holidays of the year.

Unfortunately, your poem is not compliant with contest rules. Blank verse must be written in iambic pentameter. Your poem's lines are variable in length and aren't written in iambic meter.

Also, blank verse does not have rhymes, either internal within the same line or end-line rhymes. You have several end rhymes as follows: soon/noon, a perfect rhyme; above/above, identical rhyme; thing/Thanksgiving, proximate rhyme. You have internal rhymes as follows: soon/noon, perfect rhyme, L2; see/family, proximate rhyme, L6;

Oops! Sorry but this is not blank verse. I can't let you down gently because it is nowhere near it. This will simply be disqualified as it is and you will have wasted your money. Isuggest you Google "Blank Verse" or look it up in Wikipedia, where there are some good examples of what you should be aiming for.
