The quick tempo and sense of mystery make this an interesting story to continue following. Hoping that the gallant knight is as gallant and trustworthy later as he seems now.

You continued this suspenseful saga in a flawless text and a beautiful voice that imbues excitement. I would like to know why you weren't descriptive of Andrew when he entered the scene??

This is a fine, dramatic chapter about three mysterious men stalking a woman with a mystery in her satchel. Your chapter is breezy and action packed. You quickly paint characters with a few strokes of dialogue and description. I knew it would be a bad idea for Shana to return to her hotel. At least, Anderson will help her.

Thank you for sharing your engaging story.

Being chased would be bad enough, but being chased without even knowing why is much worse. Of course, there is always an answer, which I'm sure we will be finding out. Thanks for another fine chapter. :-)

That was so good, Barbara, this man sounds nice, I think he might be someone who is not your normal run of the mill man, nor is he one of the baddies. I'm hoping he is going to find out what's going on and help her. I love the detail you put in this, I felt as if I was there with them. Excellent, I'm going to learn a lot from you! :) Sandra xxx

Hi, Barbara. Good to see your new book coasting right along so well. It sounds like it will be a great adventure.

Nice imagery as usual in here: Like: "I'm sure I'll be fine, but thank you." Shana put his card inside the side pocket on her purse, stepped away from the car, and started walking in the direction of her hotel."

In New York, you would be lucky to have a stranger help you with anything. LOL..Also, be darned lucky to find either a vacant lot or especailly a parking spot. I know because Im am from New York originally. (just so you know) If this entire story is going to mtake place there nd you need any help with the city, let me know, my friend.

Suggestions: "He heard Shana gulp." I am sorry, I cannot visualize this. what does a "gulp" sound like?

And: This thought should be attributed by a speech tag of Anderson, I think for clarity: "I don't have a good feeling about this. Anderson returned to the car and steered into the closest lane. This is one time I'm glad traffic's crawling. He continued following Shana until she came to a group of hotels. These are the cheap-end hotels. It's probably all she can afford."

Fast paced and well done, barbara. blessings. Bob

I was wondering about the gulp myself. I am still working on that one. I will see what I can do about the other one. I wasn't going to keep them in NYC, but Shana is telling me wants to stay there. Not sure, yet. I had other plans. She still wants a cat. NO CATS!!!! LOL Thank you for the kind review.

I can sense that she's terrified. She can't even go in her hotel if the three men are there, and she's afraid to trust Anderson, thinking he may be with the men.
Exciting chapter. On the run in the big city.

Another good episode, Barbara. This flash thinking and decision is more American in style - I can't remember an English story where the protagonist jumps into a stranger's car. My memory ranges around hailing, or jumping into a taxi, and very few of these are driven by a prospective love interest! Keep going! Regards, Mary

Another exciting and mysterious chapter. Whatever could those three men want? She's lucky to have found a caring person to help her.

Thank you for the kind review. Those three men have changed their nationality on me. LOL Sometimes I hate my characters, they have a mind of their own.
