Well well well...
The first thing that struck me was the new president...
It maybe small but doesn't this just pack a whopping punch!
Gawd help us all. I do hope that the mass media starts to realise the damage they are doing right now across the globe.
Stirring hate to the point of frenzy. What's done is done. All we can do now is throw a few coins in the odd well and wish that Mr.Trump comes up trumps.
A really thoughtful but terse poem.

The globe is experiencing great changes right now. So many different areas of society are seeing transitions. From the way we shop to the robots that serve us and say thank you!
what the hell is that supposed to mean?
With an old a few months ago... we shared some good memories, some of which were very funny. Her response? Instead of laughing, she spelled...

Robots are cheaper to run than humans...
I wonder what the human race will be like in the future when we reach such a technological peak that the we no longer require physical work...
I see it beginning to happen now. Adverts suggesting we buy all these gadgets so as not to have to think for ourselves anymore...

exactly....robots my be cheaper...but humans are alive...if a robot doesn't eat...it will still work...humans will die...and they are...you are so right girl...the world has gone nuts...I don't know anyone who isn't living under stress...rich and poor...sigh...

We are just going through one of the millions of changes the planet has to offered to pave :)
Let us not forget the millions of wonderful and decent people that are swirling about this enormous broth of life. We rarely get to read in the media about all the great things going on every moment of every day :)

I've been staying close to home while I heal my discs. I'm over the serious pain and started a new, twice-a-week therapy today for my Peripheral Neuropathy and am hopeful. Take good care of yourself- Joan

I have been in therapy 2 1/2 months none on my neck popping...I went yesterday back to the neuro surgeon...he said stay with therapy a little longer...it is better...the popping is less...he said keep my laptop high up...not where I am always looking down...I did something to the discs when I turned it...now it is disc on discs...if it doesn't pop to many times the pain is less...that is what we are looking for...I so glad you are doing better...and I am hopeful for us both...still working on this old age stuff...LOL...have a great day sweetie...and you are so very welcome...xxoo Linda

Yes, it takes courage to get old! I am so glad to hear your neck is getting better and the surgeon has recommended continuing therapy and gave you tips about raising up your lap top.
I was impressed by the new electrical therapy yesterday and signed up for a three month program. As I said to the doctor, I have 10 more years, and nothing ventured, nothing gained! Here's to fighting the good fight!! -Joan

oh!!! you mean 10 years before you have to slow down...LOL...me too...so glad you got back into your therapy too...it does help...just not making me any younger...LOL...wonder if they have therapy for that???...LOL...you take care...I'm coming back slow...but I'm coming back...love xxoo

Linda - you had me at Goofy. When I read the poem I heard it in his voice.
Poem works well and has a lasting message! Being goofy often gets you bruisey.

Hi Jasmine, so good to have you on FanStory...Jasmine when you give a poem a 4 star rating....that is not good...if someone gets a six star on that poem...they will lose it...a four star means something needs to be fixed...and then you tell them what it is...if you like that poem you give it a five star rating....if you really like it you give it a six....but you are only given six...six stars...FanStory has a list of the rules...you might want to read them...I am so glad you love my poem and it made you laugh...and you are so very welcome...love Linda xxoo

This is a very clever and upbeat 1-6-1, full of great imagery. I love the accompanying illustration of Goofy. I think that even if it wasn't there, that's what your poem would have brought to mind. Classic.
