An excellent story. One that should happen more often in real life than in story. too often the woman gets blamed and the cheating husband forgiven. the rat got justice in this story!

I liked the story in that the guy is getting what is coming to him. Instead of saying they swapped stories it would have been good for at least one of them to tell a story about the guy.

This is a great response to the prompt! Very clever story line. Two smart ladies who gave Steve, the rat, what he deserved.
Suggestion for you to consider:
'Inside the bar, there were red and green lights that created an eerie, unreal atmosphere.' You can tighten your writing by cutting out a couple words (there, that) so it reads: 'Inside the bar, red and green lights created an eerie, unreal atmosphere.'
I enjoyed reading this story and think you did well writing it.

A very well written short story. How many times has this played out in reality? There are many stories which buzz around like this. I am reminded of Scott Peterson and his evil manipulative ways, destroying so many lives, not just killing Lacy and Connor..well done.. jlsavell
