Yes dear Vance, not everything God does, appear to carry some blessing, but indeed seems to carry a curse, but I agree with you, because God is good, He has allowed it, so it must be inevitably good, " All things work together for good, for those who love Him, and for those that are called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28, well done, my brother, thank up you for this marvellous poetic work, blessings, Roy

Thanks so much brother Roy for your kind and always encouraging review and reflections upon scripture that underscore the intended meanings I try to express with thoughts, fingers and words that I hope will help others find peace in GOD'S precious gifts that so often are taken wrong in value and purpose. I know you stand for the same and I celebrate and honor the great works you offer. Your messages are always a gift of faith! Blessings always...Brother Vance

It's true, Vance, God doesn't always make his motives
obvious. When the floods come, how can one not think of Noah?
On the other hand, when the garden wilts, how can we think about
being led into the desert?
Like you, I believe there are reasons we fail to have the
long view of.
I think that's your point.
I think you're saying: Don't be frustrated.
Amen.
Peace, Lee

Hi Vance. I like your well written poem. It progresses in line length from the start to the end. That together with content and image make a visually satisfying piece. Message is good, too. These are the lines I like best:
"It shall quench the thirst of all
Who cherish and respect it's gifts
Cooling and refreshing the winds
As it washes over mountains and cliffs"
A small typo to fix here: Who cherish and respect it's (its) gifts
