A very well-written Kyrielle Sonnet. The special way we embrace our lovers and they to us, will always bring back memories and make our hearts beat faster.

This shows lust and love. There is longing to be together with someone one might love.

The artwork is fanciful and romantic.

Keep writing

Simply gorgeous, Susan ... whew!
Wondrously alluring to the senses, you've penned the perfect iambic beat to match the heart's yearning song, ache's sensual dream, and life's primal urge for close affection.
Whomever the gloriously blessed guy is you penned this poem of enthrallment to (if he's read this) must surely have every fiber of his being kneeling in blissful gratitude, planning a romantic interlude for you both to share.

I love it ... color, font, presentation, illustration, creativity, emotive force, power, and tenderness, etc; all combine to embrace and sweep the spirit vividly into your moment, as excellent poetry should. I am more amazed and impressed by your growing skills with each of your compositions I'm privileged to read.

Thank you, Susan, for such an incomparably joyous treat! ~ Richard

Absolutely beautiful! As a Kyrielle Sonnet, it is flawless, and better than most sonnets of any kind I have seen. As a discreet but passionate love poem, it has to set the one addressed on fire. This one is "for the ages" and ought to be published. Superb and aptly illustrated.

You're most welcome, Susan. Yes, this is a splendid Kyrielle sonnet, and your writing is getting better and better. I read the other reviews so far, and it's clear you are conveying the emotion in it very effectively. -- Mike

"My silent heartbeat..." Sounds kind'a eerie to me, Susan. For if a heartbeat is silenced it usually means that it is no longer beating.
In other words... you're dead.
However this lovely, lyrical Kyrielle sonnet isn't cold and devoid of warmth at all as the dead are.
No, this is warm and poignantly passionate.
We'll call it an anomaly and leave it at that...

Well done, poet.

    Did I write "Sandra"?
    Oh my...I could have sworn...
I apologize, Susan, and I have no other excuse to give for my slip-up besides age, LOL.
The mind is usually the first thing to go they tell me.
In all sincerity, it's a lovely Kyrielle sonnet.
