Very lovely poem as an entry into the The Good Old Days contest. Lovely imagery throughout. Very much enjoyed the nostalgia of the following verse:

First day of school...
then the last.
Forever loves,
that didn't last.

Today I think there are still good old days. Only difference is, the OLD now refers to me.
