I couldn't believe that you were writing such a poem. I should have known what you were up to. Makes me wonder about MY mind. LOL Maybe it's because of what we read on here every day?
Very cute and funny Sandra. Well done. xox Nancy

You and all the others too, LOL, and they say that the Fanstorians are saintly people, LOL!!!! Thanks Nancy, I am having such a giggle with all the reviews, you are all so funny. Just say 10 hail Mary's and you will be let off. LOL (I'm not Catholic, so hope I got that bit right! ) :) xsx Sandra x

Ah, the old apple pie switcheroo
Sounds a little crusty to me
but a Gala event to be sure
as old Granny Smith is a little green around the edges
And a bit of a tart
the sweet smell of Ambrosia
promises a Golden Delight
and is well worth the price
All faces will be red
for in the end it really is Delicious
As is this poem with its beautiful art work
Well done

OH, I nearly choked on my bag of crisps! LOL, that was so funny! Thank you, Robert for that, it's hilarious. Oh, just so you know, I make the best apple pie in our village, but I don't wear gold. :))) Thanks my friend. :) ~Sandra xxx

-Oh, I love your 'bit of fun' for the picture.ð???
-When I first started reading, I didn't know where it was going.
-You ended with a great surprise!
-Good rhyme, imagery, and story, as well as progression in it.
-I like all the images about how she is beguiling and enticing; the men willing to pay a fee!
-But the best is:
"Another door then opens freeing smells they can't deny
And now they're drooling for their slice of home-made apple pie!"
-That must have been some apple pie!
-Thanks for sharing.

You've never tasted my apple pie, Pam, it's something else, I can tell you! LOL. Thank you so much, my friend, I had such a giggle writing it, and now I'm having a bigger giggle reading the reviews. I think some should wash their minds out, lol, I just don't know how they got it so wrong. :) Sandra xx

Well, Sandra, you have never tasted my homemade apple pie, all from scratch, including crust🙂 I don't know how anyone could get it wrong. You are welcome for the review.

Love it-quite the excellent surprise for everyone's evil little minds-haha. I'm sure this will be the winner for originality. Great idea.

This is a very creative, imaginative picture this challenge poem. I think you did very well completing the challenge with the poem. Your words were well chosen and the piece was very well thought out.

Lady of the night as caterer! Now there's a turn up for the book as they say. You lead us delightedly and delightfully up the garden path and into ... the ktichen! "Yikes" as they say in the comic strips.

A thought here.
"And eagerly await the pleasures they've been waiting for". "Await" and "wait" in the same line? Perhaps "searching for" in the second instance.

What a great poem. You created a very sensual
Image and then contrasted it with a wonderful twist- apple pie. Not what most readers expected I imagine. Thanks a lot for sharing

No, none of my reviewers thought it was the apple pie the men wanted -- can't understand it! LOL. Thank you, Oliver for your lovely review. I'm glad you enjoyed my bit of fun. :) Sandra xx

Ah, if only every bakery served up such creamy delicacies.
You've captured this lady.
And lady she is. Only hypocrites would suggest otherwise.
What she offers, she offers with distinction.
What she charges, the market is happy to pay.
What she delivers . . . well, I'll never tell.

Peace, Lee

LOL! You wouldn't believe how many thought this was something other that apple pie the lady was offering! I am shocked! LOL. I make a mean apple pie, Lee, you might like to try it one day. I'm told it's the best pie around! Thank you, my dear friend, for the lovely 6 stars. You're a star yourself. Big hugs. :) Sandra. xxx

Well, I know something about apple pie. It's best warm, and full of cinnamon. I like to plant my face right in the middle. You can't take me anywhere. L

Exceptional in my opinion...worthy of 6 and not 5 because of the way you led the reader into convincing them she was a hooker or stripper, then at the end made a very enjoyable twist. Very Nice!
