Thank you for sharing. This reminds me of the plight of Tinkerbell in Peter Pan, where he implored everyone to clap and affirm that they believed in fairies so she would regain her stamina and not perish. I often refer in apologetics to the Tinkerbell fallacy, where people falsely present the notion that if enough people don't believe in God, somehow he will cease to exist.
