LOL Funny 5/7/5 and it's so true, some stories seem to go on forever and ever. I have a hard time wrapping up stories so I can relate. A good writer, on this site, once told me to start with the ending, that helps.

Witty and so spot on true. I have found a few books as an adult that I didn't finish earlier in life and was surprised how the ending I imagined and the actual one differed. fun poem with original phrasing.

hahaha, most my books must be mystery novels then rarely do I finish reading a book, it's not the books fault but my attention span lol. good luck on this and have a great day.

Well this certainly made me chuckle! The truth is, some mysteries are so poorly written that when we finish reading them - they're still a mystery! Great little poem. Well done.

There is a simple truth in the thought conveyed in this short but honest verse. The humor is a careful reminder of the dilemma every writer faces in his or her first attempt to write their Pulitzer prize winning novel.

I have a confession I would read these short 3 line poems or similar and then not give a star rating as I probably did not think much of it and so after reading press to skip it. Yours was the exception I read it and laughed great stuff .

there is a bit of humor in the reverse of the typical sex roles, isn't there. Growls and whispers are great descriptive words.
