Didn't you ever wonder how she locked onto you? I would have been leery of her from the first. (I've learned the hard way.) I'm more of a Brunhilda these days.

You left me hanging just when I was getting all wound up to see what happened. This is so good, I would have read it non-stop if you'd posted the entire piece.

I nervously await . . . 8-)

The entire thing is so surreal. Probably because I haven't had any horrible experiences (mainly because I'm fairly careful), but this one was truly out of the ordinary, and never in a million years did I ever think I'd meet my Switzerland dog ally :) Life can be amazing at times. I am so glad you enjoyed this chapter and I thank you for your continued follow and interest. Have a wonderful Tuesday, Yvonne.

Your chapter came at a perfect time. I'm recovering from a traumatic dental visit where I seem to have reacted to the medication. You provided humor to my recovery :)

- "Little Red Riding Hood and (the big bad wolf)..." - how come Red gets capitals and the B.B. Wolf doesn't?

Can't wait to read more. You got my anticipating more in this adventure.

Good morning, Joy, and thank you for another generous review and six star rating. I was sorry to hear of your dental trauma...I hope today brings healing and pain relief. I was happy to hear my little story brought you comic relief :) You present a good question on the book, I have nothing against wolves, believe me, but I believe the title is just Little Red Riding Hood, I threw in the BBW just to bring clarity to the creepo being the wolf. I'm going to have to research a little more on that and thank you for questioning it.

Have a good a Tuesday as you can muster, Joy, as you continue with recovery mode. XO

Thanks Mary. Taking it easy today as I still feel pretty shaky.

I just meant you should capitalize the Big Bad Wolf, as you had it all lower case. It is my understanding that all names should be capitalized.

Hi Mary,

Another fun chapter! Oh, that Brunhilda!! She needs a good smacking!! :)
I just about choked on my morning coffee when reading this. As with the other chapters, in addition to a crazy real-life story, it is Brunhilda who steals the show for this reader.

Very well written with excellent dialogue between yourself and Brunhilda, and vivid imagery created for your reader. Stand-outs for this reader are:

- "aluminum graveyard" ... great way to say 'trailer'
- "nightmare on Dick street" ... clever
- "She considered writing a five line haiku, keeping him short and simple, just like in real life" ... haha ... love the way she thinks!
- "I tried not to flinch" ... loved this reaction to 'Red Riding Hood and Bad Wolf'.
- "find a book on Ted Bundy for Charlotte" ... lol ... I agree ... she needs to get street-smart and not meet up with strange men in far away lands. :)

Looking forward to finding out how this ends, Mary! Another great write!

Connie

Good morning, Connie. What a lovely review as you always provide. The SIX stars, made my morning after a long restless night of toss and turn. Bruni especially loved reading she is the real star of this saga ;) Charlotte's mistake is all of this is only that she is far too trusting for this world and takes people at their word. Thank you so much, Connie, you are a steadfast friend here and I so much appreciate your insight into my work. Have an awesome Tuesday!! XO

I would imagine catfishing can go on anywhere on any online site. It's kind of scary, since people have met here on FS and traveled to meet each other, too.

- I(It) was hard to argue with Brunhilda on that point.

I'll keep reading. I still can't believe you put yourself into this situation, but it was for the best if she is safe.

:) e

Good morning, Ellen, and thank you for the excellent review on chapter 4. Thank you also for the catch. I seem to always neglect and a few slip through. It has been corrected. Have a fabulous Tuesday, and thanks again for the continued follow and supportive comments.

Hi, stranger!:)

first - for grammar= "Her usual rapid fire replie(S) ... either you change this or make the verb plural - "were" -

Tease. Just as I am really getting my teeth into it, you leave me hanging. (Great strategy. *grin*) Well done, Mary, and say hi to Bruni for me - I likes that gal. :))

Fabulous addition to the story! Of course, I laughed the whole way through.

My favs:

her Last Supper minus the disciples (So frickin funny, and then add that, for crying out loud, it was at Mickie D's and DUTCH)

finished off dining with the rattlesnake donning fried shoulder length Trump hair with a McTurnover. (There was so much there, I had to pause and read it again before I began laughing like a crazed lunatic---trying to keep it down since it is 3:20am and some people have to sleep)

She considered writing a five line Haiku, keeping him short and simple, just like in real life. (Cute and nice analogy)

The song Bruni sang "hark the herald angels sing"
I had to shut Bruni down before her rendition replayed continuously in our head like 'It's a Small World' does weeks after exiting the damn boat ride at the happiest place in the world. (OH, jeez.....LOL. I've woken my daughter and husband with my crazed laughter.)

I know EXACTLY what you mean, but you said it so brilliantly. When I'm on the riding lawn mower, for some reasons the stupidest songs repeat in my head, hundreds of times while I slowly creep towards insanity just for a way out. Once it was the "Dollop of Daisy Sour Cream ad". Another time it was the Debbie Boone song, "You Light Up My Life." Where does it all come from?

Even though you still call her your friend, I am wondering....is she even real? Will she meet with you? I guess I will have to wait.

Stellar writing, as usual.

Kelly

Haha, thank you Barb! I'm still trying to figure out the conclusion. I'm hoping to get it all in the next chapter, but I tend to have diarrhea of the mouth :) Thank you for your excellent review and continued follow. I'm off to hit the hay, so to speak!
