It was such a lovely day, sunny, breezy, not very hot, I went 'round to the family graves. At seventy-two I am the last one left, and my chain of thought led to this Rondeau. Thanks very much for reading and reviewing, and that sixth star really makes my day!

Nicely done on the rondaeu potlatch challenge on the fear of death. many people fear death I think because they don't have true hope and faith, nothing to fear but fear it's self. I myself will welcome it when it comes. have a great day.

And when you face the facts, the only hope is faith. Hobbes called it a great leap into the dark, and a famous evangelist called it The Mystery...thanks very much for reading and reviewing.

We can't run or hide from death, Red, nor should we try. You're just wasting the last of what breath you have left if and when you do.
No matter how fast we may be able to run.
No matter to what corners of the Earth we go to try to hide.
In the end, Death will catch up with each and every one of us eventually.
It's inevitable.
Just enjoy what time you have left and live each day as if it were your last.
'Cause, let's face it.
It just might be.
Good Rondeau composition and form.
Good rhyming throughout, and your message comes across loud and clear.
Well done.

It was a breezy, cool, sunny day so I drove around to all the family graves, and it set me thinking. At seventy-two that's risky...thanks very much for reading and reviewing, Dean.

A very well-written Rondeau. It is quite natural to have some fear for death. But God assure us there is nothing to fear when we do and believe in His word.

Fabulous rondeau, Ellijay. As always your authentic, signature you that I have come to thoroughly appreciate.
Everything is in perfect order and fear of death, well what can I say--it's omniscient.
Super job with this.

A beautiful breezy day in the mountains so I made the rounds of the family graves. Then the fear challenge brought this out. Next week, I hope for more sunshine. Thanks very much for reading and reviewing.

A very fine Rondeau, beautifully phrased and I am humbled to think that it was produced on demand and against the clock. As I approach the final deadline, I find it gets harder to meet the self-imposed ones.

The time factor is almost always harmful, calling for editing over and over. Thanks very much for reading and reviewing. Fear is not my favorite topic...

Lige,
This reads so beautifully and so true. I think the older I get, the more I feel just this way. This is better than a challenge piece. It's true poetry. I enjoyed!
