Your poem is hilarious and so is the picture that goes with it. I wonder what the Pope is looking at...
Good luck in the competition.

Thank you so much, MJ, for taking time to read my poem. I peek through my front window every few minutes to make sure there isn't a lynching committee in the yard. LOL! Your kind words and generous review are greatly appreciated. :-)

This poem speaks volumes about the human condition. A man, no matter his religious convictions, is still first and foremost a man. I cannot imagine a man who is not a homosexual, who would not be affected by being afforded that up close and personal a look at so impressive a display of the female form.

Thank you so much, Nomi338, for taking time to read my poem. Your kind words and generous review are greatly appreciated. I wish everyone felt as you and I do. I've had a few five me one-star reviews and blast me about the poem. Personally, I don't know if this picture is photo shopped, whether just the camera angle made it look like he was admiring them, or if he was just in shock at seeing them so revealed. But, I can say that I can't imagine anyone male or female that wouldn't notice them. I have no idea what his thoughts were, but who am I to judge, or who are those who do. Thanks again. :-)

Someone sent me this pic in an email some time ago. It is the look of incredulity on his face that seems to say, "Bless you my dear!" Then to continue with,

"The Lord moves in a mysterious way His wonders to perform."

Yes, this picture was probably photo shopped or taken from an angle that made it appear he was looking when actually he wasn't, or maybe it was just a glance that was caught at the exact moment. I can't imagine anyone, male or female, that wouldn't have noticed or been shocked to see such a revealing top. LOL! Thank you so much, Pantygynt, for taking time to read my poem. Your comments and generous review are greatly appreciated. :-)

Haaaaaa, well Ric you've definitely topped yourself with this one, pardon the pun. Is this a photo shopped pic? I can imagine the Pope would be most careful not to get caught in such a compromising photograph.

I KNOW you mean no disrespect and congratulations on winning the contest. LOL. I give you top marks for boldness.

LOL! Yes, I knew very well that I was going to get bombed with one-star reviews on this one, but in my mind it just goes to show how uptight and ridiculous most of us are. I definitely meant no disrespect to the Pope. He is one of the best human examples in my lifetime of humility and true caring. This was most likely photo shopped, or the angle of the picture made it look like he was gawking at something he wasn't. Or he could have been in shock at what he was seeing, and of course, he is human and how could anyone male or female not at least glance. But I would be the first person to bet that he wasn't admiring out of lust. Thank you so much for taking time to read my poem. Your kind words and extra special six-star review are greatly appreciated. :-)

Well, he is a man, too! Of course I'm sure this was purely accidental on his part, but your humorous poem is very cute, and typical of all human beings. Good luck in the contest,
Rhonda

Yes, Ronda, dear, if I were a gambler I would bet the pictures angle made it appear the Pope was looking at something he wasn't, or it could be photo shopped. Or he very well might have been in shock that the woman would wear something so revealing. But most of all I don't believe it would have been a lusting admiration. Thank you so much for taking time tor read my poem. Your kind words and generous review are greatly appreciated. :-)

The expression on the Pope's face does not seem to be admiration -- but rather he is likely considering how many Hail Mary's make up for such a brazen outfit. Topic fits the contest parameters.

Note -- Pope is always capitalized.

Note - I personally thought the Pope was probably more in shock that the woman would wear such a revealing top. I said nothing to make anyone think otherwise. Big Papa is what the Italians call him, and the girl was just waving to her friend that the Pope wanted to bless her. I left people to make their own decisions, so if they thought something else, I can't help that. Thanks for reading.

Here's a bit of trivia- Pope Francis worked to make some extra money while going to graduate school before entering the priesthood. He was a bouncer at a Buenos Aires bar. From looking at this picture he's probably thinking- "Reminds me of the old days". That being said, you have created a fun 5-7-5 poem, The arrangement with the artwork is a blast. Thanks for sharing this piece.

Wishing you all the best...
Bill~

Thank you so much, Bill, for taking time to read my poem. Pope Francis from all I've read is a fine person, but of course, he wouldn't be human if he didn't catch a quick peek at these puppies. And his staring was probably just out of shock, if it isn't just photo shopped anyway. Your kind words and generous review are greatly appreciated. :-)

A very well-written humorous 5-7-5 poem even the pope is only a man at the end of the day. A real temptation rubbed right under his nose. Lol.

Ha, ha. I'm think the image that complements this has been photoshopped. But hey, it's just a bit of harmless fun. It brought a smile to my face, anyway. Good luck in the voting booth :-)

Yes, I too would guess it's photo shopped, if not it must have been taken from an angle that made it appear the pope was staring. Or he could have been shocked that the woman would have worn something so revealing. On the other hand, they are hard not to notice whether he would be lusting like me or not. LOL! Thank you so much for taking time to read my poem. Your kind words and generous review are greatly appreciated. :-)

It's ok as far as subject matter, I just think you had the opportunity to be
really funny with this picture. Perhaps try a little satire or sarcasm as the
obvious lines aren't funny.
Hard picture to find I bet!

I actually just stumbled across the picture. Of course, I think there is a hit of satire and sarcasm in this poem. Big papa are what the Italians call the pope. The girl is waving to her friends that the pope wants to bless her. Thanks for reading
