I like your mono-rhyme and creative entry.
I'm all about great deals...I just get lucky
with drive bys or walk bys.
Our entire house (except the bed) is
furnished from garage sales, estate
sales, craigslist and so forth. I have
the touch;)

I had the feeling from the contest directives that they wanted a synonym used in the poem but since it did not mention that directly, I do like how you captured the essence without using one.

Your point is made well. If you really want to shop, you have to be one of the first on the scene. I rarely ever do it anymore. I'm trying to get rid of stuff and not accumulate any more.

Very nice piece here, fitting in the required syllable count. I have to admit that I am a sucker for car boot sales, so pretty similar. Although it does amaze me what some folks will buy! LOL
