There's good counsel in your poem, Patricia.
Age is not everything in maturity of obedience to spiritual truth. Be still, and let God work." That's a quality I only slowly learned. Getting ahead of the Lord was a weakness. The irony was that I meant well.
There's an old saying, "The road to hell is paved with good intentions."
However, good motives do count.

This is a good poem to take to heart when you feel like you have been stuck "baking" during a test for a long, long time. It seems that the baking process is important even if it seems long, drawn-out, painfully hot, and undeserved. The poem points out that God is in charge and knows what He is doing.

This is a very good poem you have penned. You used very good descriptive wording with your words and great imagery with your art work. I am thankful to know He is working all the time. hugs, Teri

Lovely artwork. I like the idea of "God Is Working." You are suggesting a continuous, ongoing process. Maybe there should be signs put up, "God at Work." The desired outcome is that humans will be what he wants them to be. Excellent use of rhyme. Beautifully and aptly stated. judi

Thank you Judy, for them lovely review. So often we fail to give God the credit when our lives run smoothly, but want to blame Him if things get rocky. Patricia

Another lovely paraphrase of scripture to assure us that God is indeed working to make things better for us. I think if we didn't need certain trials in our lives, He wouldn't have us HERE. Earth must have exactly the trials we need. He loves to see
us full of the Joy of the Lord, but when we are crying, He gathers our tears. They
are precious to Him. Thanks for posting.

Thank you for this great review. He says in His word that He gathers our tears in a bottle.

I really like the topic and it appears to meet standards with the correct format. I am not sure I would of repeated the word morning. The author believes that God gives trials when I believe that trials are what man creates and God gives us the tools we need to get through them, as well as joys. But the poem had a meaningful ending if the poem was about being like God but the poem was choppy and spread out with ideas that did not flow altogether for me. The poem had several ideas but not consistent.

Patricia, how true. Sometimes we get in God's way and try to do things our way. He has great plans for us. He knows what is best. Well done

Sweet and simple...and so true. A great reminder delivered whit humility and sincerity. It has a fine flow
Just one spag suggestion:
From morning to morning
God is working
to make our lives better(; or . or -- or ... or ,)
we just need to be still
and allow Him to work.
God Bless!

Reminds me of the song, "Fill me, use me..."
When we allow HIm into our lives, He will take us where we do the most for HIm.
