This is one of those cases when the victim becomes the perpetrator in the view of the investigating officer. t's hard to believe but it's almost like the detectives have preconceived ideas, like the victims of rape are asking to be raped, I'm inclined to believe the victim, I don't think any victim of rape would be willing to testify, nothing would be more humiliating than that. Well done, great entry in this witness post, well written articulate descriptions and projected imagery, well done, good luck, blessings, Roy.

thank you so much. Having had that brief moment with the two cops in real life, I can guarantee that it was humiliating. I did open the door. Luckily, I didn't get hurt. But the cops questions stung badly.

Hi there,

A good solid story here. Believable scenario.

A few bits of editing required though -

" I didn't realize it was so late." - delete the space after the opening speech marks.

"Why not? Don't you have a clock? - need closing speech marks here.

"What happened next." - needs a question marks here.

"I began to feel uneasy. I put my hand on the door knob and said something like, "Look, I really don't feel comfortable with this. I have to go."
- you need extra closing speech marks at the end. you have closed off the reported dialogue but not the full dialogue.

Your were polite to this guy?" - You were.

I am bruised and your acting - you're.

Oh, now your cussing at me - you're.

What happened to that emotional control? - need closing speech marks here.

All the best
GMG

I am going to have to learn somehow to double check speech marks. I know how all of these are suppose to go . I just don't see them when I go back until later. Thank You so much. Keep on me.

I really found this interview to be believable (and not just because of the author's notes). :I especially like that you chose to make this all dialog, leaving all the physical details to the reader's imagination. We see the victim victimized twice as the cop is rude and unwilling to believe her. The ending is a bit abrupt, but overall a well-told story.

Thank you. I hated that night and I wasn't even raped. Imagine how I would have felt if I had been violated that night. Thank you so much. I may add something to the ending to clear it up better.
