Oh, like the artwork you choose, perfect and the subject matter, that people somehow get a joy talking about others to so many or the latest buzz ...Though for it to be so secretive, and most likely pure gossip ( there the only one knows, and it is so interesting for them,, they can't contain themselves..) it too must not be not a very nice thing about a person or persons. And, funny, too... it eventually gets to even the ladies bible study " prayer requests"...well, just maybe that will be the best way to end the story that went rampant .. by putting it in God's hands to help quish it or heal the problem, if at all true.

Thanks for sharing...Caressa_08

Actually Sis, we remember what the story was recently. HEHE!! She was upset over our pastor's choice of how the eggs were done for a Men's Breakfast. She Scrambled them and that upset him! So there you go you are the very first we 'gossipped' to, haha. Thanks for comign in opn this sorry no rewards for ya.

This is a cute little story you have penned. I do think that might be considered gossip. I don't think we should spead what is asked us to pray about to everyone else. Very good wording. Teri

I whole heartedly agree with you on the thought it is gossip. I will take to my grave the things that people have confided to me. Good rant. As far as prayer lists go. My own church just says , "God, keep (insert name) in your good graces as they go through this troubling time." It says just enough. Gretchen

This reminds me of a friend I had as a child. She would always say, "Promise you won't tell." And after you had crossed your heart and hoped to die, she would tell you something like. "Your slip is showing,"
I also remember those what I call gossip prayer meetings. Thanks for the memories.

Hey, a second review, thanks very much. I have a prayer warriors list I send requests around on actually I send a lot of Christian stuff that doesn't go on our church web site including prayer requests with no names. God knows whom they are.

You story is short, but it is very important. There are so many lives changed or destroyed by gossip. It is horrible, and hurtful. I'm glad you brought the subject up.
I agree with you on the prayer requests. Sometimes they are a bit gossipy.

Great job,
Rhonda

Very good point. I often wonder that too. If someone singles me out for a secret bit of gossip, I KNOW she's told others, since I'm the last person to be interested. LOL!

I appreciate your rant but what's your point? What
are you wanting to say about these two areas
you have labeled as gossip. It seems as if you have
forgotten to complete this piece with a final paragraph
to help the reader know why you offered this piece.
Sharing our joys and concerns together with a group
of caring Christians is not gossip unless that group
have not learned to have boundaries and respect for
one another. It should be a holy time. -Bill

Hi friend, it started out without the prayer point thing but some other reviewers have understood about some prayer points leaning towards gossip. I do run a Christians E-mail list where i send stuff around including prayer requests...usually without names as God knows who has the need. Thanks for coming by.

Another epilepsy inducing piece of artwork. Great funny short story. I have wondered the same thing. That would be funny.

This reminds us that the urge to gossip is alive and well. I wonder why this woman would have wanted to confide in you, as you hadn't seen her in quite some time. It's ironic that she told you and then warned you not to tell anyone else. The mark of a gossip. I like that you couldn't even remember what her important news was. This was a lively, fun read about human nature. judi

Hi Judi sorry I haven't looked at your stuff for a while. Thanks for coming by. We did remember what it was yesterday but I won't tell, hehe. A strange woman for sure.

You're very welcome. I remember playing the game of gossip. Someone starts with a story and it gets passed on to the other participants and turns out very different at the end. judi
