Another grand illustrative picture.
I love the line... "alabaster bones beckon" ... very ominous!
Definitely enjoying the read. Looking forward to the next haiku.

She is clearly headed for the castle of Vlad the Impaler. I would love to see it, but from a safe distance. Great work with this haiku...you are moving the story along very nicely.

No matter what happens to her, the castle still awaits her.
Fate is something that goes on and I feel she is being drawn there for some reason...right?
I can feel the walking on bones leading the way

You're absolutely right, Barb. Mirela has a destiny to fulfill.
Thank you very much for taking an ongoing interest in mine and Gypsy's haiku book of Gothic romance and horror.
We very much appreciate it!

Dean.... as usual, a brilliantly-stark visual and presentation to set up your words in this most decaying thought of a regenerated entity... yes, vampires are in fashion and my favorite kind of 'hora'... cooked perfectly and served with the barest of accompaniments... love gnawing on those bones!
With our thoughts we create,
rebirth of classic lust.
James.

Is the castle that of Bram Stoker the architect of Dracula or do I have the name wrong of the books author and the hag - a witch or vampire?

No, you're exactly right, Alan. It is the home of none other than Vlad the Impaler. It is still standing in Romania today, and tours of Bram Castle are given on a regular basis.
Thank you very much for your review.

Dean, you provide the readers on this site some of the greatest poems of horror that is always accompanied by the most horrified artwork imaginable. You, Dean are the master of the macabre!
Your comments in your authors notes provides for me the insight that I need to understand the words of your poems. Thank you for that!
It looks like from my standpoint that Models didn't have much of a chance no matter where or which way she went!
Thanks Dean for this exceptional piece of poetry!

Jim

You're correct, Jim. Mirela is pretty much in trouble no matter how you slice it. No puns intended, of

Sheesh! I do NOT believe I am doing this again! I was about to head to bed early for a change. I think I'll stay up awhile now...
Fabulous, Dean! The damn sound effects are too real too! LOL.

-
A-h-h-h, just what I needed, a thinking cap!
Thanks a bunch, Pam. ;)
-
Glad you liked getting a new thinking cap😊
-
My old one was getting a little frayed around the edges, LOL...
-
Thought it might be:) Just think what you can do with a new one!
-
The possibilities are endless...
-
Put it to use right away
So it will not fray
A good poem it will make
About time, for all our sakes 😀
