These reflections are raw truth. The reader will definitely connect with you on these. I am sorry for your losses. We are never the same after an experience like this. Your intense description brings the reader with you on the roller coaster of emotions. Sending you healing on all ;levels, if you will receive it.

Hello again, my friend: Oh, believe me, I totally understand your need to hear him and see him again and them. Our hearts will always reach out for them. I still have days when I wake up from dreams where I was in deep conversations with my son, my mother, my two sisters, my niece, or my aunt. I have my days when I could be going on with my life and everything seems okay but out of no-where a sharp pain hits me like a stabbing of a knife and I can't breath until I cry it all out of me.

I write it all out and those who don't get it- they can pass by my "Woe is Me Poetry." That is what I call it because we must get it out somehow. When you get a chance, read my poem, "Today." It talks about some of these issues. As time goes by, we will read all of each other painful poetry. It will help us both to know that we are not alone in this misery and yes, I will continue to share scriptures with you that will give you hope because God promises that we will see them again. We will, Ricky. Please look forward to God's promises about this and once again stay strong in God's love...much love...agape!

Acts 24:15 - and I have the same hope in God that they themselves cherish, that there will be a resurrection of both the righteous and the wicked.

1 Corinthians 15:26 - The last enemy to be destroyed is death.

Revelation 21:4: - He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death'[a] or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."

Ecclesiastes 9:5, 6 & 10 - 5)For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing; they have no further reward, and even their name is forgotten.
6) Their love, their hate and their jealousy have long since vanished; never again will they have a part in anything that happens under the sun. 10) Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the realm of the dead, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom.

WOW! You have been busy. This is so full of love and emotion. You have to keep reminding yourself you will see him again one day and what a joyous reunion it will be. Nicely done and thank you very much for sharing it.

In my opinion, a frightening, but seamless rendering of the final event - well constructed in its lyric appeal and fluid movement - arresting in its last rhyming line...

Your punctuation and notes distract from the poem. Quote marks? Definitely not needed at the beginning of each line. I'd advise you to out the extras in author's notes.

When I separate the distractions, the poem has the distinct quality of projecting how life might appear if there was no other option but death. Very interesting.
