Hi Vance. Animals truly are God's angels, especially dogs. (After all, God spelled backward is dog.) I loved reading this touching story and thank you for sharing it with us on FanStory. Marilyn

Bro. Vance,
I'm very glad you sent that story, because it was a perfect illustration about God answering prayer in his time.
I have a very backslidden son who is always mad at God, because God doesn't answer his prayers the way he wants
Him to and when he wants him to.So I posted it on FaceBook
with a few commentrd.I'm praying my son sees it and is convicted of his arrogance.

Bro. Jerry

Dear friend: I too, hope this very touching and meaningful story will reach your son's heart and let him open up to God's endless gifts of joy and enlightenment. Let's pray that his heart will find the priceless energy and enrichment of GRATITUDE for all his life offers him, and then celebrates the JOY that comes from giving back that energy of sincere thanks! Blessings! Vance

The drawing of the dog is excellent, and complements your story perfectly. I enjoyed reading about the old man. His family took him in, but he lost his will to live. Then they got him a dog from the dog and cat home. After a no at the start the old man and the dog became the closest palls. His father dies with the dog beside him. An angel. Very good, could not give you a six as it was not your story.

If you've been reading my series on spirit guides, you'll see what happened here. Part three dwelt with angel animals. Cheyenne was definitely one.

What a beautiful story. I love stories that show how pets can change our lives for the better. I know it first-hand. I have had many furry angels come through my life and have thanked God for sending them to me.

I give you credit for sharing this wonderful story with us. It touched me very deeply. 8-)

This is a beautiful story. Thanks so much for sharing. God has many messengers. When my husband had major cancer surgery and follow up radiation, his body, mind, and soul was devastated . It just happened that my daughter rescued two tiny kittens whose mother had been ran over
I had to work so hubby had to bottle-feed them as he reclined in his bed. These bonds of giving care to another helpless life invigorated him being belief.

Thanks seaglass and I hope you got my first message (which may have somehow been lost). I really appreciate you kind and heartfelt review and hope you will share this story with as many people as possible to assure others that God has given us so many tiny creatures (even a butterfly for me at one time in my life) that can express such powerful love and GRATITUDE for the blessings we have been given. I expressed my own in writing on FS some time back: "The Ultimate G-Spot, celebrating my new ANGEL delivered as a Teacup Yorkie named Bitsy. She makes my day....every day! Love blossoms! Thanks so much! Vance

I have a yorkie mix. Gus is like a child to my hubby and me since kids are grown and busy. Wonderful breed for companionship.
