Third line can be taken two ways: advance warning or advance as in money to support you while working on a novel. Either one could prod you into action or freeze your creative juices that resent pressure. Good one.

Interesting 5-7-5 you've written - I'm not sure I get it, but I guess you're saying the writer has been paid an advance and now needs to cough up the work?
