Sure, bubbles in the sink--why not rainbows? At least you listen to the voice that tells you to write down the thought. Stain glass sounds funny. Would changing it to stained glass upset the meter?

It is fascinating how the poet can find such beauty in such a tiny thing! I loved this little poem with its wonderful imagery and message of promise. The movement in the poem is wonderful.. especially the line "A little puff of breath it lifted..sFoated away.... Lovely.

Not just a little musing, Gretchen. You wrote a deep poem about a simple object. Those are the best kind, as far as I'm concerned. Good job!

I like the theme of this poem :) It reminds me of the days before I had a dishwasher lol! I always hated washing dishes by hand. You have me thinking back to those days and I can even smell the soap. I like the image of catching a soap bubble and looking into it like a crystal ball. This is a fun poem that provokes thoughts. Well done!

Hi, Gretchen

= Oh, wouldn't it be wonderful to pop the bubble in this world that's so chaotic, and rearrange ... mold to begin anew?
= YES, I vote for that. I enjoyed our musings. Nicely sorted.

haha good muse. A bit of extra detergent left making the raind=bow for ya. Loved the picture. Some good thoughts through here. Needing to get back to writing. Hope I get as much support from the reviewers as I have given to their works hehe.

I love musings like this. It takes keen observation to appreciate these moments, these little gems that bring us to a new level of perception. Nicely done. Marilyn

LOL That's wonderful Gretchen. You see God's promise in a bubble while doing your dishes. His promise can also disappear like bursting a bubble if we don't change out ways. Well done my friend. xx Nancy

I guess we have all noticed the colorful designs in soap bubbles while doing dishes. Of course, don't ever tell anyone that I have ever washed dishes, it might be bad for the image. Thanks for another fine read. :-)

A few years ago, we were showing my namesake, a retired magazine photographer from Virginia, Arizona's sites. We were driving slowly and turned a mountainous bend only to be block by the end of a rainbow. The end straddled the narrow road, but alas, no pot of gold. My uncle had up park in the middle of the road while he took several images. It was the highlight of his trip.

Cool. I love to see rainbows. Only seen one double rainbow. Now that's a sight to behold. Thanks so much for the wonderful review. Gretchen
