So beautiful in color and presentation...The author-poet describes a love that has gone wrong..It is quite similar to the rose in RGStar's poem...except this poet feels defeat...until the last stanza where he/she looks forward...

I loved the message that was portrayed in your poem. The beauty of the rose, to signify love...which withered and died. But the new rose brought a new beginning. It was a wonderful poem. Very well done in style and verse.

This is a sad poem of love and betrayal. Perfect for the contest. She seems to be strenghtening and gaining hope in a better life with a real mutual love.

In the first line rose should be rose's frangance to show possiveness.

A very well-written poem. When we are betrayed by the one we loved the most, it seems our life came to an end. When we start getting over the shock we realize there are other opportunities to find new love.
