Hi, Rickey,
"River of Pain" is superior poetry with an excellent metaphor title. It is written in very good figurative language and paints compelling images. ":Unending acid rain pelts me" is an excellent fresh metaphor. There is good simple rhyme and structure with the lines usually containing a single thought or idea. There is good flow.

RICKY1024 Sucide is a crutch to,some but for me..
A learning tool to teCh out and prevent it.
This I achieved (witjfourmiracles) in meeting for addiction called "Journey to Wellness" in Toms River, New Jersey
She had breast cancer and was going to blow her brains out tat Saturday morning until I kicked in with what I did and believe Mr . .
It is GRAPHIC.
RICKY1024 YEA, SUICIDE IS NOT ALWAYS A WAY OUT.
I speak on it and use it as a tool to help.

Very sad and lonely piece, aching anguish, multiple questions of God with no foreseeable answer, quite crushing in intensity.
Good rhyme and half rhyme, there is strong structure, consistent use of ellipse.
