G'day Ricky. Well done, mate. As we go through life and these sad events occur in our life, it causes us to reflect on our own life, for the rest of it. You have done well, thus far, to be able to survive, but to be able to write about it makes you a very strong man.

Excellent rhyme and flow. Good figurative language. "Silver and Blue Cross Pen" a fresh metaphor for suffering. Excellent alliteration, repetition and inspiration. Well done, Ricky. You really can write good poetry.

I read a book called flowers in the attack...about some crazy ass woman who tortured her children in attack. She was ashamed of them.
ya know Rick, what you've been through and survived is unbelievable ....except it happen.
and I know you want to know why...but nobody knows.
when the worst thing in my life happened. I was devastated....and the biggest hurt was I felt betrayed by God.
one day I....one day I started praying for someone else. and I....oh I believe in anger , I challenged Him, to prove my faith back. He did. I never did that before...and dont recommend it. Its just at the time....I didn't care about anything anymore. I've searched this history with glance magnified and am confident my intentions and actions were honorable. I have nothing to be ashamed of...
I'm not comparing pain Rick...no one feels yours like you. All I know He is...God....whether I hate him or not. whether I understand the why's...or not. I am convinced He is.....truth is I already know why....how....I just need Him to confirm it unjust.....and He has. Keep doing whats right. its better to face Him with an inquiring mind than a guilty conscience. love to you...michael

Excellent writing and great title for this wonderful piece! Read the book and saw the move, "Flowers in the Attic", and enjoyed it very much. Of course, this is very different and the title is different as well. Sometimes, ricky1024, I get off track and just go on and on. Sorry for that.
