Perhaps we should pay people like this more compliments during life because he surely won't know about them when he is dead. This is a great idea for a little piece of shortform free verse.

Thank you Cynthia. The saddest thing I have ever had to experience was to watch my dad laying comatose unable to even realize that his only child had traveled thousands of mile to visit him. It broke myheart that he could not even react to a touch.
