This is a great entry for the contest! I love the rhyme pattern, it is so easily read.
I especially love the line "Because God made me from the dust,
with water mixed -- a pinch of lust" - it certainly describe's human nature. Yet, you don't focus on the flaws, but on the positivity of hope. Great job!

These thirteen lines are a strong testament to faith in God and in yourself.
They ask people to accept you the way you are because that's the way you are supposed to be according to your Maker.

I'm not a big fan of religious poetry, but I really liked the flow of this poem and the way it encourages the reader to accept us all for who we are, regardless of shape etc. The way the poem is written makes the reader feel like they are party to the conversation and it feels very personal - a great success.

This is an enjoyable and original take on e prompt. The rhyme helps to join the ideas together and the imagery is powerfully created. The dialogue in stanza two is very effective and the reader can relate to the ideas presented. Thanks for sharing and good luck with the contest.
