That's because you don't write them down.
If you were to meet me face to face--me, with my seven pound Chihuahua with diamond-studded collar, leash, and skull and crossbones sweater (the Chihuahua, not me!)--you'd never guess I write the sorts of things I do.
Why?
Because I drag my demons kicking and screaming into the light to expose them for what they are and share them with everyone, instead of allowing them to fester like an infected parasite inside of me.
So, I'm very laid back and at ease in person.
Not so much in my head...

This cacophony poem, Nightmare Date, has a lot of onomatopoeia to keep the eating (disgusting) and the getting away in a hurry vivid for the reader. Nice (but revolting).
