Whoa!
This REALLY hit home!
Wow!
So well done, flows lovely
In basically a wonderfully (mostly) trochaic
Rhyming free verse..
Great job and congrats on the win with this!
This sort of poem (emotionally altering) is just one reason I'm happy to be back to reviewing here at FS!
Well done! ,,,******

Wow! Didn't see that ending coming. Great entry into the "The Life He Almost Lived". Enjoyed the read very much. Your poem tells a great story. The rhythm, rhyme and meter are all good. Wish you best of luck in the contest. God bless and hugs, Susanne

This is a very moving piece of writing indeed that happens all to much. We put our lives in anothers moral standards every time we leave our home. Exceptional.

Poet,
This is an incredibly well written poem and entry for the contest.
I did not expect that ending. Your rhythm, flow and rhymes are
great. The sad story is conveyed very well and is impacting.
Thanks for using my art. It was taken in Vegas.

If you drink don't drive.
No sympathy for this character.
Now he can live the life he was born to live...in prison where he belongs as this poem depicts.
Should be a good contest entry.

I think this is a well written poem with a nice rhythm to it and I enjoyed it I did not understand the last line but that did not prevent me from enjoying the whole thing.

The guy is sitting in the jail cell and ripping up his bucket list because he is now going nowhere. Drunk driving is on the decline but there are contless heartbreaking stories just like this, Thanks for the review Kooky, cheers, j
