I like the way that you use the phrase again and again
but it doesn't overwhelm the whole of the poem. Rather
it continues to let the reader imagine looking at the cross
with our own issues. Thank you, Teri. -Bill

I agree emphatically Teri. There really is just one place to run, the cross is the only place. I love the fact in Christ we have certainty, in the world we have, as you say, chaos. The boundaries in the world are in a state of flux. Well done, Teri, you are a great source of encouragement, beautifully written in expressive devotion to God, great worship language and a sweet arrow to the cross, in aabb rhyming, well done, blessings, Roy

A poem that should make anyone feel better. I couldn't agree more with everything you said.
That's the very place I turn to whether happy or sad. Works, doesn't it. 8-)

I love the picture, as most of Angelheart's it speaks to many needs and dimensions. And, sharing your words, I feel again the expansion of my life above the cross to realise my greater purpose than must be realised, achieved and embodied to change that chaos as existed in the infancy of this world when Christ walked alone, under-standing and anchoring our God, co-creative potential through our Word and communion in language of life and choice. Thank you so much for sharing, and bonding your gifts into that shining star of love, light and life, Maureen*&*

What a beautiful tribute to the Lord. You have written a wonderful poem and have a natural talent for putting feelings on paper. Maybe a little work on flow and rhyme and it would be perfect. Have you tried free flow without the rhyme. Your poem seems like a good fit into that category if the rhyme was dropped. Keep up the good work. It is needed on the site.

This spiritual poem, I Look to the Cross, has great significance for people today. It seems we are shifting sands in world affairs, when every day seems like Opposite Day. It's good to have a steady target to shoot for.
