I love haiku however, I want the traditional 5-7-5. while yours is 5-7-4, I understand. I know all the dreaded rules. Yours is sentence-like as are many of mine, I cannot usually get the juxtaposition I would like.
By the way your picture is beautiful AND guess what -- if you superimpose the haiku over the picture it is called HAIGA and does not necessarily have to be related to seasons.

lovely soft gentle piece of
work. the picture you have chosen
to compliment this works perfectly
the peacefulness of the flower yet
thousands of insects silently crawling
all over it is what i take from this
