My 87 year old mom, (very healthy and energetic) and I spend summers at my rustic cabin in vermont. I always pick her bunches of wildflowers and this was to celebrate the precious summers that we have left. Thanks for the review, see you at the finish line, cheers, j

This is a poignant little senryu recalling times spent together with a loved one. The connection to the person and the time is made via wildflowers.

Your poem is nicely constructed with evocative language - it should fare well in the contest.

This senryu, Wildflower Bouquets, uses its seventeen syllables and bursting-with-color graphic to bring us into a beautiful memory of summer with a loved one. The colors, placing us in a great outdoors, delight the reader as we all soak up those moments as well. Nice.
