I think you might use extra spacing or some other means of showing a break between Taylor eyeing the cocktail waitress and Sheriff Daniels telling Cody he doesn't want him to go to Matt's because a storm is coming. He resists the offer of ice cream and plans to skip out and go to Matt's anyway. Which fits in precisely with Taylor's scheme. You really show the mean streak in Taylor and how revenge for losing his job is Number 1 on his mind. His evil streak cannot be denied. Wonder how he got to be deputy in the first place. judi

Hmmm I was right about the former deputy huh! What a rat. Good story. Can't figure out what age this is aimed for? Some of it would go well for Youth but then some??

OH no.
Soon to be in the hands of the enemy and no one to miss him for awhile.
But I think Cody is a bright young man and can hold off evil till help comes.

This is another nice chapter. Being old and forgetful there were a few lines I didn't understand until I read them over and over again. Your not at fault so don't take what I said the wrong way. LOL My brain's not working like it should.
