This is lovely! Amazing how it's possible to impart a full season in such short lines. The poem made me smile, and also had the ability to capture happiness, warmth, heat and summer fun all in one very short and sweet piece. Loved it!

congrats. Lots of imagery here. very hard to do with so little words to convey with but so true, you can tell what a person has been up to by their tan lines and burnt noses. lol

I loved your poem. The words describe summer very well. I feel like I'm at the lake when I read it. I rarely write poems, and I am inspired by those who do. I can only imagine how hard it must be to only write a certain amount of syllables. Great job!
