What a sweet story. Rosie knew that having his dog with him would help Harold go in peace. There's something about dogs... I have three little ones. They're a lot of work, but a lot of love, too. :)

What a smart nurse. She knew that no one should die alone. Frankie was eager to be with his master (tug at the leash and snuggled up). Dynamite last line.

A virtual six for your creative talent, and it also brought tears, as a pet lover, I think that would be really the most proper way to go with a loving dog or cat by my side and so comforting than even at times ...one's own family.

This is only the second one I read in this contest, & so far much better than the first one. And, after I read all of them for this contest, then I plan to vote.

God Bless...Caressa_08

A sensuous story of a dying man's love for his dog and how a nurse read his mind and knew what he wanted a lovely story told well with everything needed contained in just 100 words well done.

Hi there,

very good job with this 100 word story. I think this is one of the few that isn't horror, which makes a nice change.

Well written piece which utilises the word allowance to the maximum. good tale of companionship and love.

Best of luck to you.

Mystery author, what a sweet story about a nurse who cared
enough to find out how to make someone's last hours
better. I like the part about the dog waiting with him.

No need for a photo. You have painted the picture with words. This is head and shoulders the winner. I read them all and sighed a lot. This is stellar. There's no notice that you crunched words here either. Smooth and easy to understand and read. Just the right number of words. Off to vote. Excellence. mikey

this is a good short setting and the dog in the room to cheer up his master is so encouraging. It is just recent they will let people have their pets visit the patients I think it helps them fare better both the patient and the animal

very well written. a big story told with a few words. My heart breaks for the dog who will be left behind. I don't think I would change anything.
